Since the grounding of Boeing’s 737 Max jets due to safety issues, spring break travelers are experiencing delays upon delays. Airlines and travel agents are busy trying to accommodate passengers amidst the inevitable flight cancellations.
At Vancouver International Airport (YVR) in Canada, airline passengers are facing long standby waits for flights ever since the Boeing 737 Max 8 and Max 9 jets were shut down yesterday by Transport Canada. Vancouver International is anticipating a daily average of close to 75,000 passengers being delayed during the upcoming spring break period.
