A pipe replacement project is going to close part of Dunks Ferry Road in Bensalem through February and work on I-95 resumes following an end to the holiday season.

Lane closures on Interstates 95 and 295 start back up this week and Dunks Ferry Road in Bensalem starts a two-month closure on Monday.

All work may include traffic flagging and is weather dependent.

Scudder Falls Bridge

Intermittent single-lane patterns possible during off-peak and overnight hours in both directions of I-295 for work into New Jersey.

Taylorsville Road, both north and south of I-295, may experience similar conditions. Work north of I-295 is scheduled between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., and south of I-295 between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Watch for right or left lane closures of Woodside Road, west of Taylorsville Road to Clearview Drive, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Daytime lane closures on Route 32 (River Road) Monday and Tuesday between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning at the intersection of East Afton Avenue/Route 332 and North Delaware Avenue in Yardley and at Woodside Road in Lower Makefield. Intermittent single lane travel is expected Wednesday through Friday during the same hours.

I-95 and I-295

Double-lane closures on northbound I-95 between the Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 413 (Bristol) interchanges will be in place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday. The work is related to a larger project repairing and resurfacing 13 miles of intestate in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.

Guide rail installation will also close the shoulder and a single lane on both directions of I-95 between the Academy Road and the Pennsylvania Turnpike interchanges during the same work schedule.

Lower Bucks

Overnight left-lane closures on both directions of U.S. 1 between Old Lincoln Highway and Rockhill Drive in Bensalem will be in place Monday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. The work is preparing the area for the U.S. 1 road-widening project. Similar work on Route 132 (Street Road) between Kingston Way and Old Lincoln Highway is also scheduled at the same time.

Pipe replacement work closes Dunks Ferry Road between Mechanicsville and Knight roads in Bensalem beginning Monday and is expected to continue through February. Traffic will be detoured over Route 132 (Street Road) between Mechanicsville and Knight roads.

PennDOT continues installing new ADA-accessible curb ramps at 18 intersections across Bucks County as part of a transportation improvement plan. Lane closures are planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday in the following areas:

Route 413 (Newtown Bypass) and Route 532 (Durham Road), Newtown Township
Route 413 (Newtown Bypass) and Newtown Langhorne Road, Newtown Township Route 532 (Durham Road) and Route 532 (Sycamore Street/Washington Crossing), Newtown Township Mirror Lake Road and Yardley Langhorne Road, Lower Makefield Stony Hill Road and Cardinal Drive, Lower Makefield Big Oak and Makefield roads, Lower Makefield

Upper Bucks

Tree removal along Fretz Valley Road between Deer Run and Rolling Hills roads in Bedminster may cause delays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

PennDOT ADA-accessible curb ramp installations in Upper Bucks County continue this week at two intersections on Route 412 (Durham Road) in Nockamixon. Work is scheduled between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday and Friday at Route 412 and Route 611 (Easton Road) and at Route 412 and Route 563 (Mountain View Drive).
