World War Three worries have been sparked today after America deployed missiles to Israel – much to the “delight” of the Israeli Prime Minister. The delivery of the missiles came for the first time, amid an increasingly unsettling climate with Iran. A video released by the Israeli Defence Force shows THAAD launchers and other vehicles being unloaded from an enormous military aircraft at the Nevatim Air Base. The THAAD system is designed to shoot down short and intermediate range ballistic missiles during their terminal phase – re-entry or descent.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was delighted, exclaiming: “The American THAAD system is considered among the most advanced systems in the world, and together with our defence systems, we are stronger in dealing with threats, close or distant, emanating from all areas of the Middle East.”
According to blog Invest With Alex, the US in particular is a country likely to be hit by a nuclear strike.
Yet it offers some hope for Britons hoping to escape any political turmoil and consequent warfare, by flagging the safest countries to flee should nuclear World War Three break out.
It highlights parts of the South Pacific, central Australia, New Zealand, central Africa, and central and South America as ones which will be “more or less spared”.
The blog stated: “If you live in a country that will face the brunt of the attack, you might want to consider moving your family to locations that will escape the worst of it as 2030 approaches and the war begins.
“If you already live in the above mentioned countries, you are well ahead of the curve.”
“At the same time, not many people can just pack up and move their entire family across the world.”
For those that do not fancy relocating to one of the suggested countries, the blog suggests to choose somewhere to relocate away from a population centre.
It claims that “societies will deteriorate” so “you want to be as far away from everyone as possible.”
Canada is one of the safest countries if World War 3 broke out – ranking in the top 10 most peaceful countries in the world.
The Global Peace index has revealed where the safest countries are, and why they are the best ones to travel to.
Nordic countries including Denmark and Norway are also considered safer than other nations to hide out in.
Slovenia is also surprisingly safe, due to relying on solar power which would allow it to fend for itself in terms of resources.
North Korea dictator Kim Jong Un is said to be preparing another ballistic missile test.
